Designed for back packing, this ax would also be a great addition for a go Bag, vehicle tool kit, or daily use. Deferential heat treatment provides a tough and resilient working edge and a softer, shock resistant poll for long sessions in the woods or at the throwing range. Hickory handles are installed with the use of a shop press to insure proper installation and a fully seated head. This is a fully functional tool.
